HBHA Summer Block Party

Saturday, August 26th

3PM – 8PM

Located in the 2000 Block of N 1st Street (between Brown Street and Lloyd Street)

The HBHA Summer Block Party is just 3 days away!  Saturday’s forecast looks to be sunny with a high of 73 degrees.  Here’s the schedule of events and everything that you need to know about the block party.

3:00  Block Party Begins!

Entertainment Lineup:

3:00 – 4:00  Artist Hour with Katie Loughmiller

This art project, led by local artist Katie Loughmiller, will teach the kids how to do basic printmaking using items they can find around the house. A fun, creative activity they can easily repeat at home!!  Children’s entertainment also includes a sing-a-long and bouncy houses!

4:00 – 4:30  Performance by the Milwaukee Flyers Tumbling Team

The Milwaukee Flyers have been dazzling audiences for years with their high-flying acrobatic performances…and they’re coming to Brewers Hill!  Come cheer on these talented tumblers!

4:00 – 7:30  Bocce Ball Tournament

Ready to test your bocce ball skills?  American Bocce Ball Company will be running two courts for play.

3:00 – 4:00:  Sign-up for team competition.

4:00 – 7:30:  Play Begins!

5:30  Performance by the Milwaukee Drumline

Come cheer and dance with the Milwaukee Drumline, a group of talented young men and women playing instruments!

Plus, Music by the popular neighborhood artist, DJ Krew! And, a variety of outdoor games for all ages to enjoy will be available including bean bag & football toss, Jenga, and checkers!

3:30 – 7:30  Food 

Brats, Hot Dogs, & Veggie Hot Dogs will be fresh off the grill.  **Please bring a side to share**

3:00 – 8:00  Beverage

Leines Beer and wine will be available.  To buy a cup, $5 for members and $10 for non-members.  Plus, don’t forget cash for the 50 / 50 raffle!

Can’t make it to the best event of the summer but still want to help out?  Donate a bag of ice!
