Upcoming Meeting for The Moving Milwaukee Forward Study
Join Us For The Second Public Meeting For The Moving Milwaukee Forward Study
Continue the conversation with us and tell us what’s important to you as we walk the neighborhood on Saturday, November 4th. The proposed King Drive extension of the Milwaukee Streetcar has the potential to connect people to jobs, attract new businesses, bring new housing options, and improve public open spaces. The City of Milwaukee, the Historic King Drive BID and other local partners are planning for how to ensure residents and business benefit from the potential changes that improved transit could bring to the neighborhood. The only way to make this study successful is to hear from residents like you.
- Hear what we have been told so far at the first public meeting
- Find out what other cities are doing
- Tell us what should be maintained, strengthened and changed
The upcoming workshop on Saturday, November 4th is the second of several community workshops that will be conducted throughout this process. Additional details about the event and the project are on the attached flyer.
